Terms and Conditions

All animals must be vaccinated in line with current veterinary recommendations and up to date on boosters etc. Evidence of this must accompany your pet on arrival otherwise we are unable to accept them in order top protect other pets staying with us and to comply with the conditions of our licence. Vaccination against Kennel Cough is not mandatory but we strongly recommend this – speak to your vet. If you do decide to have this annual vaccine, please ensure that it is administered 7 days prior to boarding as a live vaccine is used.

We are able to accept titre testing – an up to date certificate must accompany your pet.

Health and Wellbeing

IF your pet becomes ill, we will endeavour to take them to your own vet, but if this is not practical, we will use our designated Vet – Portland Road, East Grinstead. If necessary, they will liaise with your own vet. You will be responsible for any fees incurred which will be added to your final bill for settlement on departure. A fee of £20 to cover transport and our time will be made.

We will contact you or your chosen emergency contact as soon as possible. If we are unable to do this and your pet has serious issues, then we will be guided by the vet as to the best course of action in order to ensure your pet does not suffer in any way. Please advise us of any pre-existing medical or behavioural conditions prior to boarding in order that we can ensure your pet receives the correct treatment.

We are happy to administer any form of prescribed medication or treatment but make a  minimum charge of £1 per day to reflect the responsibility of this.

Whilst we are happy to accept older animals and those with on going illness, we will always discuss any special requirements that you may have and ask that you are aware that these pets may find a kennel environment slightly more stressful. We offer a free overnight trial in these circumstances and will always give an honest opinion as to suitability.

We ask that all pets are up to date with treatments for parasites in line with current veterinary recommendations.

Daily rates are inclusive of vat and use of our own food – you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer or your pet has any special dietary requirements. Charges are applied on a half daily basis   i.e.  collection AM ( 10-12 ) or drop off PM ( 3-5 )  will mean you only pay for ½ day. Collection outside of our standard times is possible by arrangement and a fee of £5 will be applied. There is a surcharge of £8 per dog and £7 per cat for all Bank Holiday boarding.

There is no fixed minimum charge – payment will only be taken for the actual period that your pet stays with us.

Payment will be taken for all days booked, even on early returns.

A £30 non- refundable holding fee will be charged for new clients and will be deducted from the final invoice.

A charge of 50% of the original fee will be required if you fail to notify us in writing of a cancellation within 7 days of the proposed boarding date. Payment can be taken by phone on a credit or debit card.

If pets are not collected within 14 days of the expected date and no contact has been made, we reserve the right to find a suitable alternative home. All costs remain the responsibility of the owner.
